Pros +

  • The staff was incredibly friendly and provided prompt service. The exterior design is interesting, but interior is strange.
  • Easy walk from the train station, and minutes from Tokyo Tower such a great location. The room was extremely spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the big fee bath.
  • Modern architecture & interior design, made to order food was very good. Immediate location is not the best but neighborhood and location in Tokyo is good.

Cons -

  • The room was definitely not worth the price, and had many strange features. Bathtub placement very awkward and dangerous to get out of. Exit light stays illuminated all night right above bed. No windows/natural light in room. All spaces are all too dark.
  • The bed was very firm, but beds are an individual thing so others may not find an issue
  • First, there was a cockroach in the room 3 days into my stay. Front desk didn’t manage to kill it and it ran away. Might be the first time I saw a cockroach in any establishment in Tokyo, and I’ve been here a dozen times. Unacceptable.Check-in: usually there isn’t anyone at the front desk, and you have to ring a bell. Problem is when I checked in I rang the bell 10+ times and waited 20 minutes before anyone came, good thing is afterwards when I rang the bell someone always came within 1 minute. But horrible check-in experience for meAlso, in lieu of a phone in the room they have a tablet you use for everything, from calling front desk to room service amenities and all. Problem is the tablet was out of battery when I checked into the room and the charging cable didn’t work, I’m not sure how nobody checked.Second day I had front desk knocking on my door when I had “Do Not Disturb” stuck on, saying they needed to have technicians check the sensors on the ceilings of my room the next day. I booked a 3-day stay initially, I’m not sure why they couldn’t have done the maintenance check before or after a guest is staying? The ceiling was also installed improperly afterwards, so anytime I opened my bathroom door there was a creaking as the door rubbed against the ceiling panelAlso, after the cockroach incident they switched a room for me, a slightly bigger room. The problem was I found black socks behind the curtains in the corner of the room as I was checking for bugs, and there was also three 0.01 okamoto condoms by the pillow inside the blankets.

Great location, comfortable bed, great value.

Hallways and the bathroom had a smell. I think the drains in the bathroom just need some baking soda and vinegar poured in the drain to clean them.

The hotel was very well located. The bed was very nice for sleeping and the bath-tup was just like paradise.

I would not go back there because of the fact that the windows are into a light well and so you have no chance to see the surrounding. Very strange!

Location is good, subway is near by. Staff was helpful. Room was clean. The is coffee machine in the room and fridge. We could leave our luggage in the hotel the last day to enjoy the city until the evening

Inside of hotel is quite dark. In the room, there is another tall building 40 cm behind the window so there is no view and no natural light. The breakfast is good quality, yet it has to be taken inside the room, there is dining room in the hotel. Because room is tiny it is not convenient to take breakfast. Plus it is delivered at fixed time, although time is decided by client, it is not really flexible in case we want to sleep a little longer. The double bed is little narrow for 2, likely 140 cm maximum and one side is against the wall due to the size of the room.

Clean property and well located for the area

Slow check in

I loved the location as there wasn’t much traffic, and close to a train station. I’ve been to Tokyo before so I know how overly packed some hotels get, but this location was perfect. The overall feel of the hotel felt relaxing, and could kick back after walking all day or riding busy subways. Overall I would recommend to anyone that wants a nice elegant stay. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The food provided was excellent and plenty of it. Very handy to two stations. Good area.

Bed was hard. There is only steps from the front entrance which makes it hard with a suitcase.

Located near to Toei subway train. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

room is quite dusty and breakfast is always the same.

The room was spacious and clean. Room service was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were accommodating. The amenities were great.

The lighting in the room wasn't enough. They also don't give you enough amenities for a bath. There is only 1 staff member answering the front desk, so if there were several rooms having issues at the same time, they won't pick up, and you would have to try calling again and again.

It’s a artistic hotel. The room is quite big and comfortable. Walk 10min to station very convenient. And there’s a welcome drink for us. So friendly.

4ZPosted on: 10-19-2023

Modern design. Large room size as compared with other hotels. Good location.

The room is very dusty, and the staff did not respond to messages sent through booking.com. It was very difficult to connect to the room's Wi-Fi. There was a weird noise coming from the air conditioner on the first night. The Chromecast had a strange setting that allowed us to control the video playing in other rooms. The security was low, as we were located on the ground floor facing the entrance, without any staff stationed at the reception.

Fairly spacious, quiet neighbourhood and a short walk from Akabanebashi Station. Hotel is close to limited choice of restaurants (including michelin star), pharmacies and convenience stores.

Room key is manually operated. No wheelchair access. Entrance is recessed and is only tiled steps. We arrived at night when it was raining and had to descend slowly so as not to slip.

Awesome location and nice apartment with all amenities and toiletries you need (or can imagine?)

4ChiehPosted on: 7-2-2023

Good location.

DO NOT COME HERE if you’re on a business trip and require an invoice for claiming the expense. On their property profile it states “The property reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. “ which means I shall be paying at the hotel, but they actually CHARGED ME THE FULL ANOUNT even before my arrival. Upon check-out they refused to provide a copy of invoice and kept saying that they were not able to do so because the payment wasn’t made at hotel but to booking.com instead and I needed to get it from booking. Booking clearly states that the invoices are only available from the hotel. After all, it’s the hotel who eventually gets my money isn’t it? I think this series of actions is a whole irresponsible scam. Besides the room was damn small and full of mysterious doors that you cannot open which made me extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. And no, the staff doesn’t speak English.

Room service was excellent. Also the tablet integrated in the room to manage guest requests and provide service details was very useful. Staff was helpful and housekeeping was professional (they even neatly organized our toiletries!)

Nothing in particular (would have been nice if there was laundry service as well but that is minor).

The unique design of the hotel, its proximity to the train station, and the extensive wine selection available to us as a guest. Also being able to leave our luggage there was a bonus once we had checked out.

The bed was not very comfortable and was evidently 2 separate beds pushed together. The frame was very prominent in the partition between the two beds. The aircon was not very easy to operate.

Very modern designer hotel. The concept is very nice!

The ergonomic is partly sacrificed to the design. placement of electrical sockets was not optimal, the bed lights were missing.
